A brand-new book
THE LOST HOUR
Some secrets are worth more than time itself.
The Story
What's The Lost Hour about?
Thirteen-year-old Max Miller does not want to go to Evergreen Academy. He wants to stay at Winder Middle School with Leo, his best friend since kindergarten. So he fails the entrance exam on purpose — every single answer, wrong. Evergreen accepts him anyway. No one will tell him why.
Before he leaves, Max's dad hands him a family heirloom: a gold watch, stopped forever at 11:59. It hasn't ticked in decades. Then one night, it does.
After that, Evergreen starts to feel like a strange place, where strange things happen — and Max is the only one who seems to notice. The watch is at the center of it all, and someone wants it badly. Soon, it's not just the mystery Max has to worry about. It's his life.
